Transcendence Theatre Company Announces Cast And Creative Team For HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD

In the second show of the 2022 original outdoor musical season, Transcendence Theatre Company will present Viva Hollywood.

Conceived by Transcendence veteran Susan Draus and musically directed, and directed and choreographed by Transcendence alumnus Alaina Mills, HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD celebrates the music that makes audiences fall in love with movies.

“Everyone has a favorite song that reminds them of their favorite movie – whether it’s Richard Gere’s Debra Winger in Officer and Gentleman. Sweeping out the door, or Kevin Bacon dancing in Footloose, people love movies!” Susan Delaus said. “We wanted to celebrate all the classics and music that made them so memorable.”

Alaina Mills added, “The music in the movie lives so vividly in our memories and hearing a song from one of our favorite movies brings us back to the excitement of watching it for the first time. We hope to bring that excitement to life brought to the Beyond stage so our audience can relive the magic of their favorite movies once again.”
