The recently-released still of Rajinikanth shows him as an authoritarian character. The star’s shoot starts today.

The major news regarding Rajinikanth’s 169th film Jailer has finally been released.

Today, just days before Rajinikanth begins shooting Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer, the makers have revealed the movie’s first look poster, which shows the superstar in an intense pose. Thalaivar 169 stars Ramya Krishnan as well as Rajinikanth. As can be seen from the first look poster, Rajinikanth is wearing a dashing and authoritative look.

Whenever a person walks out of the comfort zone to take on an unconventional appearance in films, the talented superstar always manages to keep his fans on their toes. Most of the filming is happening in a city film set in Hyderabad. The Sandalwood actor Shivarajkumar will play an antagonist in the film Jailer. He is popularly known as Shivanna.

One of the female leads of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film will reportedly be played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, while Yogi Babu has also joined the team. The film’s full cast and crew have not yet been announced. Composer Anirudh Ravichander will work on the music.

This movie is coming out soon and should be released in Summer 2023. The movie was made by Sun Pictures.

Likewise, a single from the film Arabic Kuthu, bankrolled by Sun Pictures, was a huge hit in Nelson’s last outing for Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast.

Thalaiva’s last movie was Annaatthe, directed by Siva and a commercial success at the box office despite receiving poor reviews. The movie includes actors Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, Soori, Bala, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, and Meena.
