Southern superstar fails in Bollywood…
Southern superstar Chiyan vikram entered Bollywood with the aim of making a splash at the box office, but his films failed to appeal to Indian audiences. Surya, one of the big stars in Tamil cinema, is not interested in any identity today. But Surya’s first Hindi film failed to attract audiences at the box office. The actor made his Hindi film debut in 2010 with Rakth Charitra 2. The film didn’t do well at the box office, and his performance didn’t get much attention. Since then, he has not acted in any other Bollywood films.
Based on the recent success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Ram Charan can be called a pan-Indian superstar. His film rrr with jr ntr broke the Hindi belt film record. His films are brazen at the Hindi box office and are in business of several crores. However, he made his Bollywood debut in the 2013 film Zangil. Audiences cannot express their love for this film.
3. Chiyan Vikram
2010’s southern superstar Chiyan vikram made his Hindi film debut with abhishek bachchan and aishwarya Rai starring Raavan. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film is very close to the character of Ravana in the epic Ramayana. Vikram woos the audience in Anniyan’s Hindi dub but goes unnoticed in Mani Ratnam’s film.
4. prithviraj Sukumaran
Malayalam superstar prithviraj Sukumaran teamed up with Rani Mukerji in his first Hindi film, Aiyyaa. The film was released in 2012 and was a big disappointment at the box office.
5. Tamana Bhatia
Tamanna started her acting career in Bollywood movies – Chand Sa Roshan Chehra before making her debut in Southern Cinemas. Released in 2005, the film was a box-office flop.
