Pushpa 2: Fahadh Faasil claims that his character was never supposed to be in the Allu Arjun film; updates about the sequel

Fahadh Faasil has disclosed that his character in Pushpa 2, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, the next big antagonist facing off against Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, will be better prepared than the anti-hero that he is now.

The actor’s North popularity came largely from the consumption of North-oriented Malayalam films in the past on Netflix and YouTube, and has steadily grown among all Southern audiences over the past two years thanks to two smash hit movies- Pushpa and Vikram-that don’t need subtitles for anyone. A couple of days ago, Fahadh Fassil divulged some interesting details about Pushpa 2 with Allu Arjun, and that has gotten him and the movie’s fans thrilled. He is using this time to improve his character and make it more badass.

Fahadh Faasil claims he never belonged in Pushpa

According to a recent interview with HT Entertainment, Fahadh Faasil divulged an important and shocking revelation- his character, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, wasn’t originally slated to be in Pushpa the Rule, revealing how Director Sukumar had conceived of the character as the villain in Pushpa the Rule but decided to introduce him in Pushpa the Rise at the last minute. Sukumar reportedly just wanted to give a teaser of his character, which would eventually expand to three whole scenes.

Fahadh Faasil has revealed that his character, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, will be more well-prepared to take on the protagonist, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, in Pushpa 2. He elaborated that we only really got to know the main character, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, briefly in the first film, but now that he’s been armed in many ways to combat Pushpa in the sequel, the audience will be able to see how the character evolves. In closing, he implied that his character is no longer where the audience left him.
