This year, the Toyota Tundra is iSeeCars’ pick for the most reliable full-size pickup trucks of 2020. Out of over 11.8 million used cars for sale last year, at least 200,000-mile models were surveyed for reliability, and the Toyota Tundra came out on top. It isn’t the most updated truck on the market, but its long history of reliability makes up for that. The Toyota Tundra pickup truck stood out among full-size trucks in terms of longevity and reliability. The Tundra is equipped with a 5.7L V8 engine that can tow up to 10,200 pounds.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and Ford F-150 are other notable options in the full-size truck category.

2022’s most reliable midsize pickup truck was Honda’s Ridgeline

Out of the midsize pickup trucks available in 2022, the Honda Ridgeline was the most reliable. As it’s an SUV first and foremost, the Ridgeline is not just the most reliable midsize pickup, but one of the most reliable vehicles overall. It is less capable towing a trailer than some of its rivals, but offers more comfort on a day-to-day basis. To make loading and unloading even easier, Honda outfitted the Ridgeline pickup truck with a dual-action tailgate. This limits its max towing weight to 5,000 pounds which is great for many people.

As alternatives to the Ridgeline, iSeeCars recommends the Toyota Tacoma and the Jeep Gladiator. When properly equipped, the Tacoma can tow more than the Ridgeline.
