Karan Johar stated in an interview with The Hindu, “I’m not sure how much of the vitriol and trolling is directed at the programme specifically; I think it’s more about the existence of a show with this level of sleaze. A lot of the vitriol is occasionally interesting because I ponder why they are both watching it and cursing it so much. I follow the discussions about KWK that people are having on Twitter and other websites; they go on and on. and I’m deeply affected and moved. I think it takes up a lot of your lives to devote so much time to writing a lengthy column about something you detest.”

It should be noted that Koffee With Karan is currently in its seventh season after debuting in 2005. The show has been airing for around 17 years. Next, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, who collaborated on the hugely successful movie Kabir Singh, will be seen on the upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan season 7.
