It’s always tough when news comes out that someone you’ve admired since childhood has passed away, especially when they’re considered “true gaming legends.”

One of them was James Caan, who we lost this week at the age of 82.

Described by many as “one of the last great men of a bygone era”, Kahn has made dozens of films from the early 1960s to today. His last film, Fast Charlie, will be released posthumously.

After hearing the news of his passing, it’s incredible to look back at how many great movies he’s been in and try to figure out his best roles.

Of course, any talk of a James Caan movie will include his role as Santino “Sonny” Corleone in “The Godfather.” What makes this part so good is that, at its core, Sonny is little more than a supporting role, but audiences tend to pay attention to him whenever he’s on screen. His intensity grabs your attention more than anyone else.
