The filmmakers, Puri Jagannadh and Charmy Kaur, are eagerly anticipating the release of their first collaboration with Vijay Deverakonda, Liger. The trio is set to fly to Morocco to begin work on their next film project, JGM: Jana Gana Mana will open on August 25. It is a story that Puri wrote around 10 years ago and had at one time intended to make with Mahesh Babu. “I’ve been waiting to make it with the right actor,” says Puri.
According to Hima, “I had mentioned it once to Mahesh, and we both wanted to do it. However, it didn’t happen at that time.”. During Liger, Vijay asked me about JGM, so I told him about it and he got excited. We’re planning a big schedule in Morocco next month.” Charmy exclaims that the news about JGM after Liger was a surprise to everyone. “While spending time with Vijay, he casually asked about JGM,” she recalls.
