Chrissy Teigen responds to the social media response to her revealing that she aborted a pregnancy: I knew this would happen

Chrissy Teigen reacted to the harsh, viral backlash she got after her Instagram post in which she talked about her termination of pregnancy.

Chrissy Teigen has recently shared her personal abortion story and, as she told to Vanity Fair, it led to the death of her and her husband John Legend’s son, Jack. Due to sharing her story about the miscarriages on social media last week, people viciously lashed out at the time the expectant mom posted a clarifying post that those were just losses, not miscarriages. Reacting to the same, the Cravings author has now issued a response on social media.

Speaking to attendees of Propper Daley’s A Day of Unreasonable Conversation summit, Teigen spoke of how she dealt with the losses of her first two pregnancies in 2020. Regarding her second miscarriage, she said, Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion. An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. And to be honest, I never, ever put that together until, actually, a few months ago.

With her story that it was an abortion, Chrissy was being condemned by some netizens of exploiting her story and subsequent pregnancy loss and abortion. Showing screengrabs of the criticism and attack comments to her, Chrissy took to twitter to comment: I knew this would happen, and frankly I’ve seen you do your best. But if this makes you feel any better, that’s cool. It doesn’t make me feel any worse though.

While reading comments from several different Twitter users who believed that Chrissy Teigen was doing everything to stay relevant as a mother of an only child, Teigen came across as unfazed. One woman said Teigen has an eagerness to be tragic, and one woman said that Teigen was cheapening the impact of miscarriages. Another claimed that Teigen suckled it for so long for retweets. Chrissy reacted by simply saying, K. Chrissy posted screengrabs of the toxic comments and remarked that it was brutal.
