DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Bollywood superstar Urvashi Rautela joins the global roster as one of its newest Smile Train ambassadors. Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Buti bin Abdul Hakim Al Maktoum, Urvashi was awarded the prestigious ambassadorship at a charity event hosted by SLS Dubai.

“I believe every child should have the ability to smile. Cleft lip is a serious condition that can be life-threatening for a child. I am committed to working closely with Smile Train to raise awareness, engage the community and use my platform to encourage Donate to support cleft lip treatment,” Lautra said.

Over the past 22 years, the Smile Train has transformed the lives of more than 1.5 million children and plans to double that number over the next five years, putting more children on the path to a better future.

She really had a heart of gold and was always passionate about Helping children,” said Josh Yugen, CEO of Yugen PR, who has overseen Urvashi Rautela’s career in the Middle East.

Urvashi has personally pledged AED 200,000 at the charity gala to support 200 surgeries for children with cleft lip and palate in Smile Train’s global network.
