Athiya reacts to wedding rumours, says ‘I wish I was invited’

Mumbai — Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty has finally broken her silence on rumours about her wedding to cricketer KL Rahul.

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya has responded for the first time to rumors that the couple will be getting married in the coming months.

“I wish I was invited to this wedding that will be in 3 months, lol,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Wednesday.

Athiya and Rahul officially announced their relationship last year. The star cricketer blessed the actor on her birthday, with a post from the pair on social media. However, the two have never spoken publicly about their wedding.

The actress was last seen in “Motichoor Chaknachoor” alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Refreshing to see a new generation date: Pooja Bhatt

Mumbai — Actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt said she was impressed and unapologetic about the way the new generation is making its own rules in dating.

The actress is part of the show “Swipe Ride” where she interacts with young people.

Sharing her experience, Pooja said: “Dating in India has really changed over the years and it’s unapologetic and refreshing to see this generation dating in their own way. Having a platform like this allows women to discuss love normally and relationships, and openly express their preferences.”

“I love sharing my own experiences with the new generation and getting a better understanding of how their choices and rejection of cliché relationship stereotypes can help them make their own dating rules!”

Hosted by digital content creator Kusha Kapila, the show invites members of the Tinder dating app and lets members meet.

The “Swipe Ride” series with film director Debbie Rao and writer Sukanya Subramaniyan is available on Tinder India’s YouTube channel.

Sonali Bendre visits the hospital where she was treated for cancer

Mumbai — Actress and cancer fighter Sonali Bendre, who was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in 2018, visited the New York hospital where she was treated.

She wrote about the “bittersweet” experience of visiting the hospital again four years later.

Sonali wrote: “This chair, this landscape, this exact same location… 4 years later. So much has changed from pure fear to lasting hope, but much remains the same. Sitting there It’s unreal to watch patients come in, I can see that I’ve been through a similar journey…seeing the chemotherapy room, the same waiting room, with different faces.”

“I wanted to tell patients there was hope, and I was on the other side, watching me today I’m on the other side of the spectrum…you can guess, it’s been a very bittersweet, emotional day. I go Go out and look into my son’s eyes, the sun on my face, and thank the universe for everything.”

Sonali is known for her work in hit films like Sarfarosh and Hum Saath Saath Hain, to name a few.

She made her OTT debut in the web series ‘The Broken News’, the Hindi adaptation of the popular 2018 UK series News.

Kangana Ranaut’s look in ‘Emergency’ to be revealed on Thursday

Mumbai — Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will unveil her role in the upcoming film “Emergency” in which she played the role of the late PM Indira Gandhi.

Kangana, seen as the ferocious and mysterious Agent Agni in her film “Dhaakad”, will appear in a completely different incarnation in “The Emergency.” She will play one of the most powerful and famous politicians on the screen.

On her Instagram, she urged fans to keep an eye out for the first glimpse of the film, which will be featured on the YouTube channel of her production company, Manikarnika Films.

Sangram has no problem with Payal keeping her maiden name

Mumbai — TV actress Payal Rohatgi and wrestler Sangram Singh tied the knot in Agra on July 9. Sangram decided to break certain social norms and said he believed in equality and would never ask Payar to change his surname.

“It’s who she is and what she chooses. Marriage doesn’t allow women to subvert men.”

He also shared that he only took one rupee as a token of marriage.

“I am totally against dowry. I am troubled when the boys ask for money, gifts and cars from the bride’s house. In my marriage, I have only ever received one rupee.”

“It’s totally wrong for parents to spend so much to raise their children and then ask them for a dowry. I don’t take anything from my parents, not even wedding expenses. We do it all ourselves.”

“It should be like this. I will ask my followers to follow that example,” he said.

Payal and Sangram met and fell in love while filming the reality show “Survivor India” in 2011. They got engaged in February 2014.

Janhvi Kapoor receives dialect training for “Good Luck Jerry”

Mumbai — Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor said she received extensive Bihari training for her upcoming film Good Luck Jerry.

The film revolves around the life of a young girl, Jerry, hilariously integrating her struggles as she fights to save her ailing mother. But her path remains full of twists and turns along this journey, bringing hilarious moments of chaos and comedy.

The film stars Janhvi as a docile but gritty character and a fantastic team including Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh.

Janhvi takes on the role of Jerry, an ordinary girl from a small town in India, and it’s important to master the dialect of this character in the town she represents.

Commenting on her wording for the film, Janhvi said: “I trained extensively for the Bihari dialect. We had several coaches, Ganesh Sir and Mr Vinod. We went to a workshop and listened to all of them Songs, he even had me do an exercise to speak Bihari Abuse was part of the training.”

“In the end the whole process was a lot of fun. I really appreciate being able to understand the grammar of that part of our country.”
