Black Panther: Forever Wakanda Director Ryan Coogler Touts Tenoch Huerta as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Dream Adversary.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Tenoch Huerta told people that his Namor is, in fact, a mutant.

Some of the highly-anticipated films from the MCU include Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and fans should anticipate a riveting, heart-wrenching experience. Tenoch Huerta portrays Namor, Marvel’s legendary Sub-Mariner, who has been a staple in their comics since the late 1930s, in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. The sequel is likely to include some drama between Namor and Black Panther, given how often they’ve clashed on page.

“The contrast between T’Challa and Namor – their characters, and their nations – just leaps off the page. He’s a dream antagonist,” Ryan Coogler, director of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, teased Empire about the comic book character Namor, who also leads an advanced civilization. Mexican artist Tenoch Huerta candidly talks about how Marvel’s Namor, appearing in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, was influenced by the history and culture of Mesoamerica. “You can take Atlantis from Greek myth, or you can adapt from a real culture.”

As an alternative to Atlantis, Namor rules Talocan and seeks vengeance for T’Challa’s (the Black Panther) decision to unveil Wakanda to the world at the end of Black Panther: “That decision puts Talocan in jeopardy. And Talocan has to take action to protect themselves.” In other words, the MCU fans are going to have to face Namor’s underwater wrath.

Tenoch Huerta teased that Namor may be a mutant in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will thrill Marvel comics fans as they see one of the longest-running Marvel characters finally take to the big screen in Black Panther: I want Wakanda to remain forever. According to Marvel head Kevin Feige, “Ryan had a pitch for a tag at the end of Black Panther. The camera would push through the palace in Wakanda, and then we’d see wet footprints leading up to the throne.”

A lot of magic is set to be woven on the big screen thanks to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever!

With Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, prepare for the ultimate clash of kingdoms! Feel free to post your thoughts on Tenoch Huerta’s upcoming role as Namor in Black Panther’s sequel with Spyholly.
