A piece of art, perfectly winged eyes need talent and perseverance. And if you’re a beginner, mastering winged eyeliner should be at the top of your list of priorities. But do not worry. We are here to fill you in on everything! Perfect wings give your eyes drama. They make you look more attractive and elegant and draw attention to your facial characteristics. Shaky hands, though, can prevent you from pulling off the look. But if you know the appropriate tricks, you can put together a sharp appearance quickly.

The accuracy of the wings is what distinguishes expert makeup artists from amateurs when it comes to winged eyeliner. It will draw unwanted attention if one wing is higher than the other or if both wings extend from the eyes at an unnatural angle. You can consistently get precisely uniform eyeliner wings by using a few easy tips and procedures.

Feline Flick

To get this look, take a normal eyeliner brush and draw a line from the inner corners of your eyes out. Hold the brush at an angle and lift your brush on both ends as you do this. This will give you more of a cat eye effect. Don’t worry about making it perfect! Mistakes just mean you’re trying something new!
Unquestionably, one of the most striking cosmetic statements of all time is the Feline Flick. From the queens of ancient Egypt to its contemporary versions at the SS21 presentations of Dior, Valentino, and Chloé, the seductive, feline-inspired beauty go-to has been declared a style signature by many.

Graphic Line

Brow Pencil – Defining your eye brows is key to any look, so the first step of the three-step process is applying a wax-based eyebrow pencil, generally in a shade that matches your hair color. Carefully sketch out your desired shape and then go over it with a brow brush or spoolie. Choose a shade slightly lighter than your hair color for a more natural look. (Tip: Using an angled liner brush will give you cleaner lines)
Liner For Eyes – The next step is using a liquid or gel liner for eyes. Draw on thin lines close to each other along the lash line, extending past the inner corners of your eyes and slowly widening as you do.
Wing – Lastly, line your waterline with black pencil or liquid eyeliner. This will give a smoky effect and really open up your eyes. Don’t make it too thick, but also make sure it’s visible so you get that perfect pop of color. Use small brush to work along lash line on top and bottom lid – slowly wing out liner at corners of eye creating an elongated triangle shape..
Finishing Touches – Perfect your look with a light dusting of loose powder. Then go over your liner once more for an intense and long-lasting effect. Finish off by blending out any harsh lines or edges with a brush, so it’s clear where your eyebrow ends and eyeliner begins. Follow up with some mascara for defined lashes and you’re ready to head out!
