Time and again, the media and its promoters, those who enjoy consuming scandalous content, have led an all-out campaign against famous women. The women who worked so hard to get to the top were pulled down by those with cameras, those who wrote the headlines, and those who sat in front of the camera and read those headlines.

Some of these women braved the storm and some didn’t. Here, we take a look at the female stars who have been vilified by the media over the years, and how insensitive public images have affected them.

1. Rhea Chakraborty

After actor Sushant Singh Rajput dies by suicide, the nation is hunting for his “murderer,” a wild concept that’s hard to grasp. In any case, without any evidence, people went after the easiest target, Rhea Chakraborty. She was his partner at the time, and the entire media, with the support of millions of Sushant “fans”, started to slander her for “killing” Sushant and supplying him with drugs, as if he had no choice in the matter, Keep him off drugs, blah blah blah.

She was even sent to jail for a drug case. Note that there are no legal reservations in this case, so it is clear that she will be released; but the woman spent a few days in prison and will never come back; for in our society, behind every tragedy involving a man , there is a woman for whom she must be punished.

2. Reha

In a somewhat similar incident, Rekha was named by her in-laws, had no job, and was marked “geeseAfter her husband died by suicide. The fact that she also experienced a deep personal loss was not taken into account, and the media reported her “story” in every possible sadistic angle.

“What made him take this step?” “Is he unhappy with Rekha?” “What did Rekha do?” These questions were asked left, right and center. It should be noted here that the stories of her so-called “relationship” with Amitabh Bachchan had been written for many years and people continued to honor them by then.

3. Pavan Babi

Today, if you search the internet for Parveen Babi’s name, you’ll find at least one story about her relationship with Mahesh Bhatt and how she was “crazy” about him. It has many versions. Because that’s obviously the selling point, which is obviously what people want to read: how her actions affect a man. Not many people seem to question how her mental illness, paranoid schizophrenia, affected her.

In the last days of her life, she was too ill to get out of bed and was found dead in her apartment, allegedly of starvation. In her own apartment, because she can’t move. Imagine how much she was villainous and isolated. Her life has been sensationalized without a trace of sensitivity, and today she is no longer there, is there anything to gain? It doesn’t seem to be the case.

4. Jahan

Jahan’s death by suicide at the age of 25 has since sparked a high-profile investigation into an alleged suicide letter and her then-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi. Sooraj is being abetted now, but it has nothing to do with him. You’ll still find people talking about her alleged relationship with Mahesh Bhatt, there are some pictures of them together, news channels are run for the most vile reasons (sometimes not at all), and her character has been assassinated so far.

“She was obviously pregnant – pregnant without getting married”, “Did she have a miscarriage or an abortion”, “Is this why she ended her life?”, “What happens to a girl when she becomes famous?”.

What happens when a girl becomes famous? Even after they died, they didn’t get the dignity that everyone deserves, and that’s what happened.

5. Princess Diana

From the day she announced her marriage to Prince Charles, there was nothing Princess Diana could do without scrutiny. No matter what she did or what happened to her, they were all looked at with a look of disdain. Headlines have sprung up about Prince Charles’ relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles and how upset Diana was.

Don’t get me wrong, no one cares about her emotions, they just want to document her unhappiness, anxiety, eating disorders, and supposed revenge attempts that she probably hadn’t even thought of, kids, rebellion against royalty, rumors…her death. I’d like to believe that no one thought she was going to have an accident trying to escape the media, but I also don’t rule out the possibility that no one thought this could happen. They don’t care at all. They just want pictures.

6. Britney Spears

Today, we’ve all heard about #FreeBritneyMovement, and it’s a lot more complicated than people think. But coverage of every aspect of Britney Spears’ life just shows the limits of how fast one can go. There was a picture of Britney, crying with a baby in the restaurant, and the paparazzi continued to take pictures of her from outside.

She reportedly asked the restaurateurs to give her a place to hide, but they didn’t. Take a look at these pictures and tell me if you would call them cruel. Her relationship and fallout with Justin Timberlake was also widely reported, and she somehow became the villain. As if this man had nothing to do with anything. The media let her down, and it was the stain it had to live with forever.

7. Anushka Sharma

One of the most frequently used phrases in the history of cricket, asking us to call it “the religion of India”. This should shame us, because if your religion allows you to bully a woman, an achiever of her own, there’s a lot to reflect on. Whatever her husband and Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli does on the pitch, Anushka is inevitably linked.

Her name started popping up whenever problems arose on the pitch, the worst example being the first Test between India and Australia before Virat had to go home for the birth of their first child. You can imagine the kind of joke about her. She “requested” Virat to come early and that’s why he lost. Ladies and gentlemen, this is how we treat women.

8. Serena Williams

God bless Serena Williams for deciding to fight with the referee. God forbid. Because people, even some experts on the game, jump straight to her character. I don’t mind discussing the legitimacy of her arguments, but let’s play by the rules and let’s stick to the technicality of tennis. Why do we have to talk about her “hormones”?

She is the greatest ever. In many, many ways, she has done more for the sport than Federer and Nadal, she has more GS singles titles, she has elevated women, she has elevated her race – so even if you disagree she has to Doing things like calling her a “hormonal” and a “painful loser” takes some courage – if you can stand all the collared male athletes who break rackets, abuse on the court, hold each other, athletic meet More pleasing to the eye.

9. Meghan Markle

Meghan and her husband Prince Harry decided to cut ties with the royal family, and as you might expect, the media went nuts. It’s a grim reminder of what happened to Princess Diana. She is obviously a “broken family boy” now, because she doesn’t like family rules and wants to live a free life, and robs her son from her mother.

Yes, you bet she wants to live free and while we’re on the subject, her husband is not a child and she’s dragged out of the palace by her fingers. Together they made a choice, and it was a very personal affair for the couple. Since some people can’t seem to understand, I’ll put it in words: their lives are not yours.

10. Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie

The media doesn’t win, does it? You are either the woman who can’t keep her husband, or the woman who “robs” him. And this omniscient, brilliant man—suddenly became a puppet in the hands of these women. Poor thing! Aniston and Angelina competing so fiercely with each other is disgusting to watch.

Aniston was the woman Brad Pitt “stayed” earlier, and now that he is divorcing Angelina, Aniston gets her “revenge”. She will not accept him because she has pride. Have you seen this ridiculous fanfiction format? It’s so far from reality it’s almost unbelievable. Not to mention, vicious, but who cares? !

11. Sridevi and Mona Kapoor

Just like Angelina and Jennifer, we have stories in our own backyards. Boney Kapoor, Sridevi and Mona Kapoor. The producer who originally married Mona cut ties with her and tied the knot with Sri Devi. Since then, the story has become about these two women.

Source: my country

Their fights, mostly fictional, made headlines at the time, and Sri Devi, though revered as an actor, could never escape the title of “Home Breaker.” even after her death. People even said that “her bad karma came back to bite her”. Of course, we all remember the disgusting “entertainment” of how she died, because apparently the media’s job is to find out.

Patriarchy makes women’s success a sin, and we witness many of them living in hell because of it. This is what the world has become.
